Anybody that knows Ric well knows that he likes strange things when it comes to food. In fact, there are so many weird combinations we have told him that at his funeral to "lighten" things up a little, we will tell stories of his
culinary creations! Here are a few examples: We caught him spreading peanut butter on a leaf of lettuce recently, he likes to slice a tomato to eat along side his pancakes drenched with syrup of course, he will drink pickle juice
(right from the jar if he thinks no one is looking) and really likes pickled pigs feet. . . This is a picture of one of his favorites. When ever eating things like chili or lasagna, he pulls out a jar of jam and puts a big spoonful in the middle and eats it all together! Through the years, we all have got a really good laugh out of these things and he just tells us,
"Have you tried it yet? You just may like it too." Ok, so I did try the jam thing once - don't need to do that again.

I actually put grape jam and chilli in with little smokies. It sounds wierd but actually tastes good. Must be that inbread Lindon upbringing. JK
And I thought my dad had some strange food combinations!
Sounds like he's pregnant.
Oh gosh, I haven't thought of that. I will have him tested today!
Yeah look just look at me, adding one more thing to my already busy schedule! I love this blog thing it's so much fun, but can be time consuming...just so you know it's only a matter of time before Chanelle is on our family blog....hmmmm
