Some of Our Holiday Fun

While in Utah, with Kelsy working and Jeff at school, we got to be Mason's caregivers for a couple of days so we just took him everywhere we went. He is such a trooper and would nap in the car seat then be ready to go when we got out of the car. His favorite thing to do is eat and so he is easy to take to restaurants and is willing to try anything! On this day, we were at a place called Kneader's for lunch - one of those great local places everyone should try for breakfast (all-you-can-eat cinnamon french toast from their homemade bread simply to die for) or lunch with the best sandwiches and soups. They also have all sorts of breads and pastries made right there that you can purchase too. The place was all decked out for the holiday and Mason was so entertained by everything that was sparkling, shiny, and lit that there was to see.
We enjoyed our lunch so much that we ended up ordering a couple dozen of their giant fluffy rolls for Thanksgiving that were the best I have had in years. Apparently, it is quite popular to order their rolls and pies during Thanksgiving and Christmas. When we went to pick them up on Wednesday there was a separate line just for the orders and they had pallets stacked all over the store full of the rolls and pies!
