The Tree of Life

On Christmas Eve we had some family pictures taken which everyone groaned about when I announced we were going to do them. However, when we were done and driving home everyone agreed that it was fun, very painless and the photographer was great! We were supposed to have done them the day before but it rained all day so Reyna (photographer) was so kind to accommodate us - sick and no voice - on Christmas Eve. These are just some proofs she has let us copy and paste so we haven't seen all of them yet but, I have a feeling we will be going broke . . .
When we were walking around finding places to shoot, I said that this tree reminded me of "The Tree of Life" how appropriate for this group which all began in 1981.

Mason was pretty serious during the whole shoot but Reyna managed to capture some really great shots.

My 5 goofy children who don't mind posing for fun pictures no matter how old they are!

At one point we were all in a pose when Reyna said, "Hey, the baby just put something in his mouth!" Sure enough, while sitting on his Jeff's shoulders, he reached up and grabbed a piece of bark off the tree and quickly put it in his mouth quite efficiently. We did get a good laugh and then moved from that spot.
