"Put de lime in the coconut . . ." Arizona style!

A few years ago, we decided to plant some various citrus trees around our backyard so we settled on a ruby red grapefruit, a mexican key lime and an orange tree. It took about a year and a half before the trees started to mature and we got to see some fruit come on.
However, what we thought was an orange tree (according to the tag from the plant nursery) was actually another variety of lime! So now we have two lime trees which we enjoy immensely as we use lime in drinks of all kind and a squirt or two on a huge variety of food. But, this year we have experienced a plethera of limes and luckily for us they have ripened in intervals over the last few months!

A couple of years later we decided to plant a tangerine and a kumquat tree and they produced nicely also this year.

How fun! I love harvesting my own food. We are enjoying broccoli, collard greens and lettuce from our small garden. Looks like you have a lot of tasty citrus fruits.
