Another thing we did while in Mesa was to roam around Mill Avenue in Tempe. The girls saw a whole new side of society that they don't really want to be a part of. This is a street near ASU where tourists walk around to gawk at people and see lots of unique stores, street performers, clubs, people still living in the 60's trying to sell their wares and just general creatures that you don't see everyday!We found this little park area behind some buildings that had a nice water fountain but then, it had these scary giant bronze rabbits all over. Very interesting to say the least.

I went to Mesa High School...the mascot was jackrabbits. When I was in Student Council we would go to those statues to take pictures. Brings back memories. :-) I can just pictures Chanelle and Kayla strolling along Mill with the ASU crowd too. :-) Lauree
