Christmas day our little Kayla turned
16! We had our usual family party on Christmas night and then we had to convince Kayla to have a friend birthday party. She finally said yes as long as it was small, very low-key, no boys
(which is weird for her since that is who she mostly hangs out with) and a sleepover. We just did this party this past weekend as she wanted to wait a little from the Christmas holidays. These are the cute girls that were there from the left: Shalia Butt, Kayla, Alexa Staggs, Monique Trejo and Brenna Bell.
The girls made their own pizzas, had a facial session with Sheri Toledo
(who had the girls use all sorts of interesting natural products like oatmeal masks, honey, egg whites, sugar rubs, witch hazel and the strangest thing they tried - peptobismal) which was a riot and then they had Baskin Robbins from the "famous scooper" Chanelle.
Of course, there was a Wii tournament, lots of giggling, and a late night of "girl talk."

Ric made these cute invites for the party. The first picture is the invitation as it appeared when you took it out of the envelope and then it pulled open to reveal the information.
We are lucky to have someone who does these fabulous products in our house!

What a great group of girls! And Kayla turning 16 is... WOW! Oh, and I love the Strength of Youth pamphlet stuck in the chair cushion. What a fun night!
I am so excited that Kayla is 16, because now she is in my class. How beautiful are all those girls!!
